If all of the flagship phones are made thinner, only to have all the components that used to be internal now be external seems like it means that the phone shouldn't be that thin. Pixel is not a great phone. Stop saying it. Two years back, I used to use Xiaomi k20 pro and then switched to pixel 7. The power difference is quite visible. Besides the lower storage option in pixel is enough reason to reject it. Nothing can beat amoled screens. You will see a difference when you switch.

What bothers me the most of Google android is I used to tell the phon to do many useful things and now the voice function changed and many options are gone. Are those back with the AI thing? Also you need to push more buttons to do something. Such as Bluetooth connection. It used to be a single tap, now is long tap, activate tap, choose your device and tap.

I'm most curious about how the Fold one handles 16:9 content. Foldable phones won't properly take off until that problem is solved.

I been using Pixel since pixel 4 and never look back to using iphone. I just love the image quality and performance remain consistence even after multiple updates to the software. Most of all, being on google fi and using the hotspot & tethering connecting to my laptop hasn't fail me when i needed most. Currently I'm using pixel 6 but accidentally dropped my phone and the screen cracked a few days ago. I just put in my pre-order for Pixel 9 Pro, after all these year owning a pixel phone this is the first time ordering a pro version. I can't wait to receive it. If I hadn't dropped either the pixel 4 or 6, i would continue to use the old pixel and still be happy with it.

What do you think about the privacy wth such massive AI integration like AI helping to sort pictures. and i don't think that is based on the file name but picture content identification. this way, it can cache the entire camera bank and help the user to find something specific but consequences can be high if companies like GOOGLE (and they do) use that data for their own or 3rd party purposes. Hope that makes sense.

This phone is excellent. Compact with flagship feels, new camera design, google pure ui and very usefull AI features.
