Great review, I would have liked to hear what phone you would have recommended since numerous times you said for the same price / category other competitors are using leading grade silicon and faster chargers.... but you didn't mention who? Oppo really has lost the plot. The Oppo Reno 8 pro I had FELT like a top of the range phone, it was metal and glass on all sides. It had a decent chipset that did not struggle with daily tasks and was actually good in the games I played. More importantly it was cheaper than the equivalent opponent like the Samsung s23 or the Vivo v20 back then. nah Oppo has lost what made them good.

They sacrificed in the things that did not matter too much back then like a camera without OIS, now they are doing the exact opposite and making the phone feel cheap while putting stupid things forward like "AI" marketing nonsense instead of improving on what made them stand out against the competition.

got mine just today(Oppo Reno12 Pro) i live in France, and it frustrates me a lot to not have a charger or a case in the box, I bought it for 440 euros, the phone has everything except the chipset, in my opinion, they blew it in that area, I don't care about games(I will use mine mainly for social media, my whole library of music, and books) but still, a Mediatek 8200 would have been a perfect fit, the one with 9200 the China version is too expensive it cost 590 euros + 40 euros of shipping fees.
