Why can't I open downloads

Is it possible to "safe mode" the
589?

I just bought a new ATT Phone . even though I asked for T- Mobile. When I got home and found out I had NO signal, I learned they were doing away with the T- Mobile. So I Bought a new phone that I can't use, and it took 3 days, and 2 stores and 4 phone reps. Consumer Cellular is only as good as the Worst Target employee.

I helped my 90 year old sister get this phone a few months ago. She is having difficulty operating the phone. When we looked at this video yesterday, we noticed that the Avid 589 shown is different from hers. For instance, there are 3 buttons on the right instead of 2, and there is no red SOS button. We didn’t know which way to swipe to get to various screens or functions. We can not always see the Home key or back button, and even with the volume all the way up, it is hard to hear. Suggestions and remedies, please…

My dad got a cellphone in consumer cellular and he’s having a difficult time trying to cancel it. I’m trying to help but is a horrible customer service. Is like no one’s there.
