  This was Canadas first iPhone I was like 20 and bought one within the first month of release for about 650$Cdn and damn what a game changer. Dropped and broke it after about 4 months got a new one shipped to me and broke that fairly soon after as well 😂😂😂

  When the home button failed about 3 years into use of the phone I turned on the Accessibility option to have a floating button on the screen and continued to use the phone for several more years 😎

  This was my first iphone and sold or ganded down almost every single iphone I had after this and but kept the 3gs for sentimental reasons. I fired it up after getting a bootleg charging cable and lo and behold..ot still works! Now I’m kinda excited to use this thing in public along with my 1st gen ipod touch. Great video btw

  First smartphone, my brother had a 3g so I had to one up him. The battery swelled up a few years ago and sadly broke the phone into a few different pieces. It was a great phone!

  How did you turn it on? My isnt even found by itunes. It also was my first and last iphone cause i just realized with it that apple is garbage. One proof for that is that my iphone doesnt even let me use it but my oldest sony phone still works fine. Also every other non apple phone stil works.

  Note: I did actually about 2yrs ago, lend it to a Housemate, to use when their Phone (apple) shat itself. lol....So yeah, worked. I however, only used it for Camera. Having gone from the LG Viewty (best phone and makes apple look fcking stupid, like a Chinese knockoff.) Touch phone, with Best Camera, and even a pen. BEFORE APPLE! I love that phone..(still have it.)(still works and in perfect condition.) LG4 crap, Lg 5, made me try Samsung. Loved, but, did not upgrade from the s10+ but, Mum bought me a Google Pixel 6...which i run now.
  Im thinking, i could make a piece of art, by taking them all apart, and making like a diagram/"like 3d body of a human type thing?) yeah in my mind i see it, but hard to express it._

  Ah my first phone. I used it until every physical button on that thing was dead save for the power port so when I want to turn it on I have to plug and unplug it. Now I run an almost intact iphone 5 because I can only use my parents old phone.

  The 3GS was my first iPhone. I'd been dying to get one for ages, but couldn't get the previous versions for my network in the UK. I lost my 6 Plus in 2018 so went back to the 3GS for a while. I could phone and text and that was about it. :)

  Back in 2011 I had a 3G, but iOS 4 was so slow, iOS 3 was already getting "old" so then I went to a HTC Wildfire S (same as you did) but the screen was too small, even tho HTC Sense was the best Android flavor at the time ... but iOS was still better than Android back in the day, for my high school graduation my aunt exchange her 3GS for my HTC and I used it from late 2011 to mid 2013 daily, and I love my 3GS. Then I bought a One plus One in late 2014 after about a year with a Wiko Cink Peax 2 and never look back at an iPhone since then. But my 3GS is still in my heart, jailbrokon on 5.1 then 6.1 and I had Siri working on it ! with a cydia hack

  This was my last iPhone and didn't get a new iPhone until 2020 with the iPhone 8. I loved this phone it just sucked that mine got stuck on an update loop. I gave it to my ex girlfriend at that time in 2011 and told her it works fine 😂. HTC pulled me over with the HTC inspire/dream that was better and the first 4G phone.

  The iPhone 3GS was my first smartphone and I used it until it died. My brother also had one and I found it recently and surprisingly it still works. If I had to use the 3GS today I could get by for a while for just calls and texts but it just lacks so many of the modern conveniences of the phones of today that it really isn't suitable for even a spare phone.
  
  However it does still meet the one requirement I have of any phone I'm going to be carrying in my pocket. It still runs the first season of Telltale's The Walking Dead. I mean it's not the best experience because of the screen size but the game does run, even if it loads a little slowly.

  This phone holds a special place in my heart, as it was the first one to include the Voiceover screen reader, which really opened up a whole new world to me. Before, if you were blind, in order to use a phone, you were limitted to a flip phone, and having people program numbers in to speed dial for you, or getting a smart phone, plus an additional $300 software to load on the phone in order to have it read out the screen. Amazing just how far tech has come, but yeah, the 3gs was special, because Voiceover was available with no additional cost. Back in the day, it still had to be turned on by a sighted person, whereas now we can turn it on right out ofthe box and run through setup ourselves.
