  I got the 5.7 deluxe Special Edition and mine dropped at a height of 2 1/2 to 3feet from my jacket pocket (I'm 5'3" tall), and now the touchscreen is unresponsive and purple discoloration is spreading all over the screen. It fell flat, screen first with a case that has a lip and it did have a glass screen protector. I kinda expected the phone to be able to endure a small drop for the price i paid for it. I got an RMA but i don't think the drop damage is covered. I expected more toughness for an almost 900 dollar smart phone. Depending on how much repairs cost, i might just say forget it and get a phone from my carrier. Other than this, I absolutely love the phone. It was fast, lots of space, camera is great, UI sometimes lag i notice.

  perfection is when there is nothing to take away, asus did a great job to take away the antena lines, but asus should take away the black border inside the display, the black border on the bottom taller and thicker and the buttons too low on the bottom, that's make this zenfone 3 deluxe not perfect there is something still need to take away

  Asus will not update U.S. devices to newer versions of Android because they think everyone here can afford a new phone every year so they push out security updates showing they are capable of updates but choose not to because they want us to buy the new Zenfone 3. After buying the Zenfone 2 551ml for a family member when it came out and seeing almost 2 versions of Android have been released and the device is still on 5.0 I will not recommend an ASUS phone to anyone or ever buy another device from you guys.

  Unfortunate that the Ultra version has some features that are better than the Specs. on the Deluxe version, but the Deluxe version has some features that are better than the Ultra (and 1/3 thinner).
