  I've had this phone for three years. Here's what I have to say:
  
  -8gb storage is what it comes with...was not enough so I bought an sd card. no biggie
  
  -speakers sound fine but don't go very loud
  
  -screen also isn't bright even at max brightness settings, which makes it impossible to see in daylight.
  
  -a lot of apps aren't compatible at all. This includes Snapchat.
  
  -takes 47 secs for a text to send after you press send
  
  -internet speed is fine (if you're in a good wifi spot obviously)
  
  -front camera is terrible. Even if you have good lighting. The back camera is slightly better in terms of pixels and clearness so I use that to take selflies. It is capable of taking decent pics.
  
  - on that note, I notice that the actual picture-taking speed is nice.
  
  -call quality is fine other than my speaker phone option doesn't work.
  
  -You can drop it on cement 10 times and it will not break (don't do it though)
  
  -layout design is ok
  
  -battery life is good compared to most phones. I once went four entire days without charging my phone (yes, I was using it)
  
  -screen is useless if your hands are slightly wet/sweaty. Insane glitches
  
  -I forgot to mention this earlier but the speakers are on the front rather than the back like most phones...which is very nice.
  
  -you won't find many "cool" cases
  
  -security is good!
  
  That's all I can think of. Overall, it's pretty good for the price but do not get it if camera quality is important to you.

  had it for few years now (eu version)
  after a year or so it becomes super slow no matter what you do (you can even flash de-bloated stock rom and it still will be slow)
  camera is worst i've ever seen
  screen is ok, but when you are in sunlight even full brightness wont save you and you can see pixels while honding it ~15cm off your face
  battery is useless, dead after few calls and laying down doing nothing for ~8 hours
  
  i am still using it, because my mom was stupid enough to buy it and because i don't have much money (less than $100)

  I had this phone for almost 2 years,it worked pretty well,but there is a few things I'd say needs work. as he mentioned, the storage could be better, along with the camera. the screen doesn't register touch sometimes. and the blink feed in my opinion isn't anything special at all, actually it's the reason I upgraded to my current phone. the blinkered crashed out of nowhere and I could no longer reach my home screen what so ever. but, like he had said the battery life was great, and it did last me a long time

  can't wait for my lg stylo 2 to get here. i had this phone for nearly 2 long miserable years. sure the screen was bigger than my previous phone but all that did was make me want to do more than surf the internet, such as downloading apps. but wait! you can't because there isn't enough space and a fat lot of good the SD card ended up doing. good riddance.

  i have been using this phone for the last year and by far its the best i have had. for battery life, im impressed. the size of the screen and the amount of time i use the phone each day, it lasts well over a day with no issues meanwhile my friends using iphones are recharging their phones a couple times a day. performance is great. storage isnt too good but i use a 16gig microSD and that holds all my music and vids with ease. for the price, i would definitely recommend this phone. i will definitely be getting another when this one packs it in.

  I have this phone and it sucks!!!!!!!!!!!! Paying my bill yesterday at Sprint I asked for internet and the ability to use UTube. I was told it would take about 15 minutes. Since the short light rain stopped I left the store. By the time I got home--about 45 minutes--I still did not have UTube or Internet. I text HTC the next afternoon after reading their thanks for the payment and wrote a response as above; so far no response. In addition, there was no volume on my earbuds for 1/2 hour. For the third time I asked for updated news since March 26, 2016--so far no response. What the hell??????????????

  I got this phone for free switching to boost so I can't complain all that much but I would not recommend this phone. You can only download little amount of apps before your storage is full. This phone does not come with Flash, the camera sucks. Overall this phone is shit. I wish I would have looked at the reviews before picking out this phone (my fault for not researching but my lg phone broke and i wanted a new phone asap). I would have picked out another free phone had i known this was such a shitty phone. Only get this phone if you want the very basic of a smartphone.

  Uhm, i am a windows phone guy but i bought this phone untill i fix my lumia. The android experience is good, i mean if you like a fast, battery ages phone this is your phone, If you like flash, camera and other shit like that, go buy a DSLR. I recomand the Desire 510 for games, browsing, email and gps; the battery will keep on going for 2 days.

  This phone is a real piece of shit. And waste of money. This is not my 1st android, I went shitty android to iPhone back to shitty android and it was a HUGE MISTAKE! I've had this phone since November 2014 and I've had nothing but problems ever since. I be had to reset this phone a million times because my camera would not turn on, there isn't enough storage room for my liking, it's very sensitive to moist fingers which sucks because my fingers get sweaty, both cameras suck (Who the hell makes a camera WITHOUT FLASH), and it doesn't adapt to new chargers unless you hold it a certain way. I WOULDN'T recommend this phone to anybody. I've seen nothing but terrible reviews on these phones they need to think about recalling these pieces of shit.

  I have a idea for the bad phone screen just go get a privacy screen protector (look it up) it will help hide the bevels you will not need to worry about viewing angles and will remove glare and fingerprints plus give the screen some character its almost perfect.

  Maybe you have a different phone in the united states. Yes the camera is poor. But the overall performance is great. The power lasts for nearly 1 week. Storage up to 128 GB. Easy access to the battery and the other stuff. LTE. 64 Bit System. And I like the viewing angle of the display. I use it as a hotspot for my Macbook Pro. Works great. And it's compatible to my Macs. I don't see your problems with it. And... it's cheap.
