  I found this phone in the weight room in highschool in 9th grade, I couldn't get it unlocked. I told myself once im up, I'll buy this phone no matter the time. I graduated In 2013, I found that phone in 9th grade. I'm 30 now, in 2024. I'm buying this phone in about a week.

  I remember this phone. It was not nearly as attractive as an iPhone but for more techy/geeky people like myself it offered things that the iPhone didn't at the time. It was much cheaper, more flexible with its OS, more customizable, and offered both a keyboard and touch screen. I remember how clunky android was up until the galaxy s3. That's when we got the experience of Android as we know it today. I put my LG g8 side by side with an s3 and while it's nowhere near as good as the phones of today you can totally tell that's when android came into its own and became recognizable

  Back in the day you had to love the G1, that was my first smartphone and I thought I was the coolest kid walking. The G1 opened the door for the Sidekick smartphone if anyone remembers. Now the Sidekick was where it's at. Once I got my hand on a Sidekick I said to myself I'm never getting rid of this phone and guess what I STILL HAVE IT. not sure if it works I have to find a way to charge too see as I don't have the cord for it.

  Android manufacturers need to drop Qualcomm. They are pieces of shit. Their processors are ok, but they are keeping Android down. There is a reason why apple has such a dedicated fan base and the processors are a part of that reason. This is not a apple argument I'm making. I am typing this on my s8 plus. I just think that they are hurting Android as a whole with their limitations.
