  I had this miserable phone through the better half of 2012. Without a doubt the worst phone I ever owned. Switching to Blackberry was one of the best decisions I made back then. And HTC have definitely come a long way.

  ABSOLUTELY HATE this phone! it freezes way too much when texting contacts, it cuts off calls like nobody's business, internet access takes way too long ans when you scroll too fast it leaves you at the bottom of the page and it takes forever to figure out why, worst of all when it charges the phone gets really REALLY hot! i give this a 3/10!

  CAUTION! I had this phone for a week with a data plan and it was great until after a week I exited from the browser and it froze. I tried everything to fix it but nothing worked. I took it back and they said it was a software glitch and traded for a different phone. Just be careful when buying...

  Don't buy this phone. I got a good batch on my first one that never froze(I cracked the screen)and then my second one freezes every 15 minutes. It also overheats and turns off where you have to remove the battery for a second. HTC never should of released this phone.

  By far the worse phone I've ever had. I literally went through 4 of these phones in a year and I barely used the phone. I was lucky I had a warranty on it. Basically this phone freezes A LOT. There comes a point where it freezes so much that it just gets stuck on the start up screen, and no, you can't do a hard reset to alter this glitch. I called my mobile carrier, and even my sales representative said she has dealt with the same issue with many callers.

  I have the HTC Freestyle and it SUCKS... When i searched for this phone, I saw a lot of negative reviews, but I only listened to the positive ones. Do NOT get it. It freezes all the time. Every hour, it says "Oops, system error. Phone is restarting." and 6/7 days of the week, I wake up with either the battery completely drained or the phone can't turn on even if you take out the battery and insert it back... I've had to replace this phone 3 times and it still has the exact same shitty problems

  Dont Get This Phone. I Got It In November Its Horrible. It Looks Nice But It Lags, Takes Forever To Turn On It. Bad Camera .When I Already Check A Message The Unread Sign Would Still Be There. I Do LIKE That You Can Have Dif Ringtones (With Texting It Only Plays 5 Sec) And Threaded Messaging.   Music player is alright, makes this phone a decent mp3 player. Sometimes this phone crashes when you leave it on too long (a few days in a row). The battery lasts over seven hours for me on standby. The comments about the camera are mainly true for me as well. I don't have a data plan, so I can't say much more. Pretty good phone altogether.

  YES! This phone is complete crap! I just called in to ask for an exchange, and even the lady helping me said these exact words: "Oh, the HTC Freestyle... I call that phone something else that I'm not allowed to say over the phone. Yeah, we get a lot of complaints." It freezes, it shuts off, horrible reception, its laggy, and it doesn't even have cool features like note taking and whatnot. DO NOT GET IT!

  Do not get this phone please. I have it and it is horrible. It freezes up a lot. It turns off for no reason. It's so annoying. The camera quality sucks. It's not worth the price it is. There's not even a timer or stopwatch on it. If you love this phone, you must really not know. Take it from someone who has this phone. And read the other comments for other horrible things it does. There's a lot.

  if you REALLY want a phone that keeps dying, you should definitely get HTC Freestyle! i exchanged 4 "Freestyle" phones at ATT customer service with the last two dying completely(the first two would only shut down on me & reboot a few MINUTES later). frustrating!!!! please stay away from this phone & preferably from HTC...

  Don't get this phone. I have it. It always freezes so I have to take the battery out. It's really slow, and the camera completely sucks. The touch keyboard gets really hard to use cause the calibration gets bad after a while. AT&T had a recall on this phone. Piece of crap.

  GUYYS. I was going to get this phone last night, i went to walmart to see if they had it, and i asked them and they said AVOID it, they said ATT had a recall on it because it had some software issues, for example, they said sometimes you would send 102 text messages instead of 1, and it would freeze up and you would have to take the battery out to fix it. Trust me!! I got the Pantech Link 2 instead, and i love it!!! if u dont believe me go to the store and ask, <33

  I don't think he knows too much about the phone... 1. phone is not plastic, it's metal (aluminum) 2. browser CAN be used in landscape--you press the menu button and there's a landscape option. 3. same with texting, keyboard has a button for landscape which makes it a lot easier 4. there are actually 10 options for home screens, not 6 5. sydney is just better....

  @ehMRL Get the Inspire. My dad has Inspire and it's quite epic. It is a real android unlike this phone which does not have android capabilities. On top of that my phone constantly has system errors and the battery isn't very secure, so it slips out of place and the phone shuts off -.- I even had to get a replacement device because the first one wouldn't turn on anymore after like 3 days of minimal use. The replacement is still having errors so just get the Inspire.
