If you're reading this and want to buy this thing, do it! There's Android 6.01 and also a 2gb ram version and it's getting cheap now. If you're familiar with Android and are able to pimp the system a bit for speed, then you will be rewarded with a great, great ebook reader, a good everyday device and a nice look and feel because the handling is better than any other tablet.

Have had this almost a year, using it to post this comment. Great battery life as boasted. Be aware that background apps can compromise that performance esp VPN and messaging apps. The bloatware is pretty minimal compared to other companies (Samsung is atrocious with bloatware). I don't feel it's sluggish unless I have more than 5 apps open at once. Bezel is a bit large and brightness is not enough for outdoors. Camera is not super high quality but the rotating feature is awesome. Overall, I love it, feels great to hold in portrait and read. The stand actually does fine for watching videos in bed. Sure there are better newer ones now, but if you're on a budget and willing to buy a good model from a prior year, this is a great choice imo. I don't game on it, but this is not really a gamer's device.

    My take on Tablets
    1. Many do not have Cellular capabilities and those that do normally cost an arm & leg.
    2. Many do not have any really useful hardware features (Lenovo's Projector on Yoga Tablet was really nice!) and water-down performance vs laptops/ultrabooks/notebooks and Apps not being able to replace full Programs like Word Document on Windows 10 vs Word Doc app on Android!
    3. Lack of Internal Storage Space and many have slow if any MicroSD slots vs laptops when you consider most of these are meant to be for media consumption!
    4. Lack of Ports on a Modern Tablet over 9 inches it should have 3 or 4 USB Type-C 3.1 and at least 1 USB Type-A Type 3.1 or at least 3.0!
    5. Cost vs a decent mid to top tier phone for features you get!
    6. Slow Updates/Upgrades even vs most Phones by the same company!
    7. Much Much Harder to get cases and screen protectors then for phones!

Looks nice. If I was in the market for a new tablet I would definitely consider this. Sadly I'm not as I bought my iPad mini 2 back in May. I won't need a new tablet for another couple of years when my iPad mini starts being sluggish, battery dying quickly and other major problems. But for now I'm good. It's a shame though, haven't owned an android tablet before.

while this is a decent looking tab with a great form factor, 1280x800 resolution is nonsense and sd210 is just unacceptable according to me $180 for this is too much here is india the mi pad is about equivalent to $200 and has a quad hd display and nvidia tegra k1 which absolutely destroys this

I like the design and the unique form factor. I like the single camera on a rotating hinge. I even like the large cylindrical base, which also makes for a decent handle in portrait mode. And going with a much more stock-like Android experience is definitely the right move. But... I simply can't accept such low specs. If they could make a premium version of this tablet as well, at a higher price point, then I would be willing to give this tablet serious consideration. But sadly, as it stands now, those specs are just too, too low...
