  I'm not a phone hoarding type, I usually just buy a good current one and be happy with it for many years, but when I knew about this phone back then I had to get it as a secondary phone, just because I fell in love with the design. Somehow the wifi didn't work on it and no technician could figure out why. I bought it brand new but had to order it from abroad, so I wasn't in a position to just walk into a brand shop to get it fixed. Anyways, I still have it somewhere in its original box. Good memories :)

  Yeah, deffinately single-core. I actually think it is a 528 mHz cpu, and the ram is 128MB confermed. I am guessing the cpu because lg had another s-class phone the lg arena which had a 528 mHz cpu.

  It's funny seeing what around a decade of development can do. Contrast this phone to the most modern 21:9 smartphone on the market as of December 2020, the Sony Xperia 5 II. The LG was slow and laggy, even for its time. The Sony is now one of the fastest and most responsive phones ever (for now...). The LG camera sucked. The Xperia has one of the best. But they do have so much in common! The extra space for an excellent camera app. The good looks. The ability to run simultaneous apps in adjacent and resizeable windows. A headphone jack.
  
  LG were visionaries with this device. Sony have reached the same conclusion now that the time is right. But nobody will care until Samsung and Apple does it. Imagine where we'd be if LG stuck with this design.

  I’ve had this phone and I didn’t find it very practical. The keyboard in portrait mode was like a regular phone’s alphanumerical keyboard and in landscape it almost used up all the screen so there was hardly any screen left where you could look at what you were typing.
  Installing any sort of app on the device wasn’t very comfortable back then so I had nothing useful on the phone.
  Well, at least it was pretty and reminded me of a Hershey’s candy bar, form wise LOL
