  Just come across a couple of your reviews, and I've now subscribed, informative, well paced, interesting, reviews. I'm looking at the Samsung A5 and the LG G3, I've watched both your reviews on these phones and found them very helpful. Now, if I could just make up my mind which one to get!

  my lg g2 just broke..i was thinking of buying the lg g3 but most people are complaining about the battery life...i use my phone for emulating games such as the ps1 games and with my lg g2 i would spend 3 to 4 hours and would only lose around 20%...my phone would last 25-30 hours on medium usage meaning not much screen time but a lot of music ...so will the lg g3 get me through a whole day with maybe 4 hours of screen time and the rest music?

  u think lg g3 display dim darker lol however that display help our eye than some phone brightness make our eye going weak, need to wear glasses lol :D and u use phone under sun light or u use phone in house or in somewhere xD. even so lg g3 still best top no matter u say lg still top than s5. laser knock code etc... i don't see what u said is right. one company improve technology so hard to make us easy to use. if u say so u are great than company lg? lg g3 test many time for sell. however u say samsung s5 good than lg xD it's really ridiculous :D

  I've always liked your videos ash, but i think implying that moving from an s5 to the g3 is an upgrade, is not only dead wrong, but insulting to the s5 owners as well. The s5 is a much better phone. And as far as the g3 version with the 805, Samsung beat the hell out of that model as well, by putting the s5 lte-a out first, and again making it a much better device. The s5 lte-a kills it on the benchmarks, the camera is much better and it's not even a competition when it comes to the screens. The Super amoled qhd screen makes the g3 qhd screen look dull and dim. And that software sharpening just looks fake and cheap. This is just my experiences, others may feel differently. But it would surprise me.

  hey ash,
  how can you not mention the forced oversharpening?
  i was so looking forward to this phone and was so disappointed when i got to test it over the last few days. The oversharpening results in white halos around text and looks awful and ruins what could be a fantastic display, the size is perfect compared to the m8 and note. I'm sticking with my m8 until, if ever, LG add an option to disable the sharpening.
  The screen also reduces brigtness after 30 seconds to preserve battery and the menus are slightly laggy compared to the m8.
  Otherwise one of the best phones at the moment.

  I own a 2011 flagship and I won't upgrade to g3 the screen is not bright enough and it over heats. Not to mention the note 4 is coming.

  I can see minor stutters and lag when I was using G3, even in your demo it wasn't as smooth as other flagships. I think Adreno 330 isn't powerful enough to push 2k pixels.

  Great review,man!Love the phone.Great aesthetics,screen,UI and dem teeny tiny bezels,haha :D I played with the device for some time at the shop,was quite impressed!If only this device had the front firing speakers,stock android,it would've been perfect!

  WRONG!! in most Western countries including Australia the LG G3 cost about 100 to 200 dollars less than the S5.
