  Why TF does LG keep making these minor improvements instead of creating a over all better product. It basically a Stylo 4/5 with double RAM and a slightly better camera and recorder...that's it. Its not going to run graphic intensive games better, doesn't have a bigger screen, or better resolution, they stylus it still just a stick. Realistically you could just by a Stylo 4 and get the same performance San multitasking. But with 4 Gb ram are you really going to have like 12 apps open all at once?

  Like #500 says, Thanks! I will look at the LG Q Stylus plus. I had written off the Stylo 4 because 2GB RAM and not waterproof falls below the line of real. Otherwise, I'll just get another Note.
  
  
  
  My problem is my phone is a business tool. I don't do games, use it as a mirror for selfies, etc. I need control over it. When Android Pie takes away my ability to record my phone conversations as my note taker for customer conversations, invoicing for my time, my planner, my future and historical calendar, spam call and text blocker, etc. I need something that is either enables me to avoid Pie, or is friendly-root-able and still do payment processing else I'm going to use credit cards. I use it for analyzing signals and bands that my phone is using as well as where it is getting its signal from. I need to be able to stop updates I don't want. I like replaceable batteries. I have these things now with a Note 3 and Kit-Kat and could block Lollipop because I have root. The only reasons I need something else is Verizon is shutting off phones without HD voice (VoIP) at year-end, and it doesn't cover the bands I need in other countries. The Note 4 gets me out of the HD voice issue but not when living abroad. Thus, it will be at least a Note 5 to get so-so coverage and not risk of getting infected by the Pie virus. Note 8 has useless battery life and both the Note 8 and 9 are vulnerable to Pie unless I blow KNOX and then I won't have pay, but that may be where things go.

  Am using the lg q stylus.. This phone mediatek cpu is total crap.. I can't even play pubg in lower settings without lagging.. The ram management is bad also.. Only the screen is good n the camera is good tho but the portrait mode don't work all the time due to always notifying me about low light... Don't think will get update neither.. Fkkk

  Stylo 4 is Android 8.1 as well, they're both the same Shiznit lol. The only Difference is that the Q Stylus has the + 1ne with more ram and gb and the Camara aah! lil bit better then the Stylo 4. But I'm Very Satisfied and Like👍 My Stylo 4👌.
