  This is currently running Froyo which is not optimized for dual-core devices. Therefore, apart from games, the performance gains from the dual-core CPU will be negligible. I would rather wait for Gingerbread update for this device, or go for the Motorola Atrix 4G or Samsung Galaxy S2.

  yep. the site it loaded on the browser has flash, that is why it felt a bit laggy.. But still, it is faster compared to other phones that supports flash. and optimus 2x is still on froyo. wait when gingerbread gets in.

  honeycomb (android 3.0) will bring both dual core support and GPU accelerated menus. this is a case of hardware being far ahead of the software.

  it is not the phone that is lagging. it is the software! it is currently under 2.2. and i've heard from somewhere that 2.2 doesn't use the full power of a dual core processor. 2.3 is better but honeycomb would probably be the 1st android OS version that can do so.

  Looks like a great phone with good hardware. Although Android 2.2 currently isn't completely using the second-core; In the future the Tegra2 platform will probably be the go-to gaming platform for android.

  @skrbicdu I've seen that this largely depends on the amount of flash on the site. On another video, when flash was disabled, the browser was just fluid as hell.
