  Great little phone if you want sommat with old school battery performance and some of the more basic functions of an android smart phone.  Its well worth its RRP, battery last 2-3 days it runs smoothly and is fine for facebook, twitter and other basic android apps if your expecting a good gaming experience and quality camera at this price lay off the drugs..

  +filipesgoncalves id say L5 I just for the display alone, the L3 II has the same display as its predeccesor (320x240 on 3.2" 125 ppi) vs the L5 I display (480x320 on 4" 144 ppi) whcih can be cumbersome to use. however the L3 II does have a faster cpu then the L5 I but otherwise they specwise are very similar

  I really prefer smaller screen, affordable smartphone with excellent battery life. As long as I can make some calls and text, that's great. I can use my camera if I want to take great pictures and watch movies on my smart tv. I don't really need phones for those functions.

  Optimus L3 is superior than galaxy young in terms of vivid colour.When I saw the both phones Young seems a dull phone with some lag in the home screen whereas L3 was near perfect touch sensitivity. I woul give 6 to L3 and 5.5 to Young for its better cover material.

  I still don't understand why they keep producing 3,2" devices. I mean are there people who specifically demand this formfactor? Had a phone like this once, (samsung wave 723) and I got was the most horrible user experience on any device I had so far. the 50-60 bucks extra for the L 5 are worth it!! learned this the hard way...

  In some other comment I explained it all. It all depends on the consumer. It all depends on their needs. For instance, my mom doesn't need a smartphone (she's fine with some nokia dumbphone) whilest my father is clung to his Galaxy smartphone. It all just depends on the person, depending on the person they'll pay how much they want. Personally I go only for the best deals. It must be cheap and high-end so I usually wait a few months after release till the price drops :)

That's pretty cheap if you ask me and my friends.... Most are paying around 50 Euro/month (iPhone users) and around 35-40 Euro/month (GS3/GS4/ HTC Users). How's the pricing there? I'm curious to hear how much a typical data plan costs in combination with a Galaxy S4/iPhone 5.

  if you can't even afford a Galaxy Pocket then you must be extremely poor...(that person must be living in a 3rd world country and being one of the poor people there aswell...) Every average working person can EASILY spend 300 USD on a smartphone. Most just buy their top of the line smartphone just with a data plan. (I got an high-end smartphone, the Galaxy Nexus and only pay 16.5 euro/month for 2 years and I get 1GB data (14.4Mbps), 275SMS/Minutes) Or just get the Huawei Y300. Best budgetphone
