The Watch OS is cool, but this smartwatch is bad in therms of design speaking: too rigid wearband + it stinks as raw rubber + the way that the wearband is bad fixed to the watch, it should be flexible. The OS is freezing often, even I reset the OS to the default settings, clean

Do not buy this watch! My screen went out without a warranty so I paid to have it fixed by Lg. First repair lasted a week. Second repair lasted two months. Customer service accused me of dunking it in water. I haven't. They are unable to perform a lasting repair on this watch. Cutting my losses. Will never buy another Lg product.

After a year the charger melted down. I proceeded like every time, and the charger melted, also melting the bracelet of the watch and crippling the back of the watch. And the nice part is this: the service refused to repair it for free!!!

    Hi
Regarding battery it's really good for a watch.
My watch is cellular connected there is a SIM inside it's always connected and It's more that 1 day on normal usage including phone call.
I disagree with the reviewer telling that the watch not worth I'm in Europe I've 2 SIM on the same number. When I get phone call or SMS I received them on both device.
I can make phone call without any problem nobody has ever detected that the call was from a watch.
The only small issue I got me is the hearth beat monitor wich is really not accurate and can't be used for sport don't compare with Polar or similar
    This watch is great

Wi-Fi, mobile data, data plans for a watch... No thank you. Having to juggle multiple data plans is not cool. I'm sorry LG and Android. I will be sticking to my Bluetooth only, not too many apps to worry about, 5 day battery life, 1st generation Samsung Gear Fit.

    Better luck next time. 👽

The Samsung Gear S started the cellular radio party nearly 2 yrs ago. I got mine 12/2014. It really is amazing how little love the Gear S gets. Everyone who complains smart watches are not smart, does not own a Gear S. I can make and receive both calls and texts with my phone at home and no wifi. Really comes in handy when the wife calls you while you're at the grocery store to pick up something and you left your phone at home or in the car. That my friends is a real world benefit. Who wants to get all the way home to find out that you forgot to pick up your daughter's special cupcakes for her 5th grade banquet in the morning and is too late because the bakery closed 2 mins after you left. Sorry Apple fans and Android Wear fans, but my Gear S has bailed me out a ton!

I wouldn't buy this watch because of the wrist strap not being replaceable. Once I seen how the Motorola Wrist strap work on the Moto 360 2.0 I would not choose anything less. Everyone deserves to customize something on there wrist to personalize to themselves.

  • @user_yameLNTP
    2016-05-31T16:40:26Z
What it would take for me to jump in is if they had an option for 1 plan, 2 devices. So I could keep my normal talk/text/data plan on my phone, and use that same plan on a watch. It really should be treated as an extension of my phone anyway, so why should it be given a whole new data plan with all the extra costs associated with it.

The 300-ish price tag is already a huge obstacle for adoption, throwing in monthly plans on top of that won't help. But, cool features like being able to make calls without having your phone present are things that will push people towards adopting.

They might fall just because the providers are crazy greedy.
They need to be completely unlocked and able to be used across all networks. May even need to have a tiny SIM spot to achieve that though.
