  Wanted this so bad. Finally got my first Droid in 2015 with the Droid Ultra. Bricked it the next day trying to Root it lol. Good ol times. 😔

  I find it funny who I randomly think back to previous phones that I owned. It was the first android phone that I owned when I decided to make the switch from Windows mobile to Android. I can literally remember every single phone I have ever owned since I got my first phone. I upgraded from a Samsung omnia 2 to the droid x and Verizon sent me a x2 as a warranty replacement for the droid x. I didn't have it long because the lte rollout was happening so I immediately upgraded to the droid bionic. That was the last Motorola phone I ever owned. I went from the droid bionic to the Galaxy S4 then to the Galaxy S5 then to the Galaxy note 4 which I used way too long I actually used the note 4 up until the release of the galaxy s21 ultra 5g which I am currently using.

  I did a pre order online with Verizon. Went from a Razor to this and loved it. Took it in to them and got my contacts transferred by wire. A really damn good phone, especially for the time.

  Still my favorite phone..and Ive been in cellular for 21 years..this phone was unbelievable. Motorola also sold a dashmount for it that was perfect..held it in solid on your dash unlike most of todays carmounts. They need to bring out a droid X3!

  hey can you still download apps on there? because i still have a droid x, the system takes forever to turn on the phone and i can’t use it anymore. i’m buying another one off of eBay to bring me back memories and i just want to use it as MP3, take pictures and videos etc

  For July 2010, this was way ahead of its time. Those bezels STILL look better than what we see today a decade later and it took the industry 5 years to catch up to that screen size and ratio to become the norm. I believe the battery and cameras were very good as well for the time.
