  OkI dont have my flip out anymore. But I can guide to some solutions you can try: 1. It seems problem with the software try to reinstall Android 2.1 again (or 2.0, whatever update you have). 2. This will be a pain in the butt, but it is worth trying. Factory rest your phone. If it works then I believe on of the apps you downloaded was bugged. 3. Try updating all your apps. Un-updated apps can cause the phone to go banana. I hope I helped, update me if anything works :) Cheers.

  im having a problem with mine, sometimes ether mid way dead or full charge, when i flip it open like to send a message or just kill time with it, it will open random stuff and keep doing it till i make it sleep or restart, do you have any idea whats going on ?

  This was an okay device back in the day. Alot of girls i knew, had this device, but like you mentioned battery life really sucked, unless you rooted it, and update the ROM. Other apps you could download, did help, but that was it's biggest drawback. But for a social media phone, it did its job just great. Nice review too and good to see you back again. :)
