  I was wondering where one would find the ESN/IMEI on a smartphone where the battery can't be removed (since typically that info is found inside the battery compartment). Thanks for explaining that! I've been considering the VM Moto Es at Walmart (only $40 each), as some users of my current MVNO (RingPlus) have reported being able to successfully activate those on RingPlus.

  I would say it's a very good budget phone if your areas of priority are ui (it gives stock android experience ), it is fluidic as compared to other phones in the same price range, sturdy, ease of use, simple design, google voice search is an icing, plus a huge battery!
  It might be a turn off for those looking for camera, performance speed when many apps are running.
  But I would suggest to buy if anyone is just looking for a medium to heavy of usage for calling, calendars, and other apps.

  Brilliant review. Thank you. Personally, I'm a bit fed up of large phones.. When you're out and about a large phone is a hassle. I wish they would make smartphones a little smaller but high quality

  Tim Schofield (Qbking77) Hey Tim, Great video as always! Also about the memory issue on android, I have a 2012 nexus 7 and I had it on android 5.0.2 and it was not that fast. Examples were that the keyboard lagged when using swype, multitasking button is delayed by 4-5 seconds, and the battery life was worse. I decided to download the original software it came with, android 4.1 and after I restored it on the original software it came back to the original speed it was when I first bought it, multitasking button opens instantly, google keyboard doesn't lag on swype, and even after updating all my applications they run way better than on 4.4 kit kat and 5.0 lollipop.

  I hope they will give me a new one, just got it and it cant find my sim. got a new sim and the same problem. so it is pretty much useless. Even a nokia from 1998 would be better now, at least it can make calls!
