  There is such a big price difference between the US and Europe, here in Germany the 16 GB version is only available in Moto Maker and it is 279€. The 8 GB version you can purchase off amazon for 50€ less but then there's no customization.

  I think this would be a great phone if it wasn't so overpriced here in the UK. £210 for the 16GB storage and 2GB ram version is a rip, compared with the U.S. price! Imo the Alcatel Onetouch idol 3 is a much better option. Front facing JBL speakers, 1080p screen, near stock android, decent camera and great battery life. All for £200, plus expandable storage up to 128GB rather than just 32 on the Moto G.

  Awesome review as always, my only advice is that use a slightly wider angle lens, and explore outside a bit more. A bit like the verge, but thats just me. :)

  Motorola kind of dropped the ball with this one. Zenfone 2 and OnePlus One stomp all over it for the exact same price in the UK. It doesn't have the high-end camera or the huge battery that allows the Moto X Play to stand out from the crowd in its price range.

  This is what I've been saying! The Moto G (and the Moto X for that matter) aren't that price competitive against the OnePlus phones in the UK. Certainly not as competitive as they are in America. Anyway, nice video as always!
