  Sept 2020: I bought this phone at motorola.com for $319. It does come with Android 9 Pie, but I got an Android 10 update when I powered it up. It's a pretty solid phone for the money. U do give up wireless charging. Motorola has regular specials, so keep your eyes open.

  This phone is horrible. I bought from Motorola and it doesn't have wifi calling and drops calls all the time. Unfortunately it took longer than 14 days for me to discover the faults of the phone (return period). Does not come with Voice over LTE. Also does not make calls over LTE. I fixed my moto z3 because I can use the phone functionality. Motorola does not stand behind their product anymore.

  I paid 330 € for my Mi 9T and very soon One Zoom became discounted to 280 € ever since here in Finland. I think I would have bought One Zoom over Mi 9T for that price. Currently One Zoom is a very good deal amongst phones around 300 € here, pretty much the best buy. I'd say it has a pretty dominating position if chipset performance is not a priority.

  I live in the US & bought this from the Motorola website 3 weeks ago for only $350!! They had a $100 off special at the time but the normal price is $450. I chose the bronze color. Motorola had it in stock & shipped it out right away. Took only a few days to arrive here on the mid Atlantic east coast region of USA.
  
  I love this phone, I'm so happy I chose this! Better than any smartphone I've owned before. I used to always buy Samsung Galaxy phones & Galaxy Notes but wanted to try something different.
  I love the stock Android free of bloat ware. The Moto Actions are super useful! The camera app is really good. I love the expandable memory, battery life, & OLED screen. The fingerprint scanner needs refinement, I got tired of it not recognizing my finger so I use the face recognition to unlock the phone which seems to work better. But overall it is just a nice experience.
  Some people don't like the selfie camera notch on the screen but it doesn't bother me, I don't even notice it because the screen so large.
  My only complaint is the speaker. It is good & like the location on top. I just wish it had dual speakers instead of one. But other than that this phone is perfect for someone on a budget.
  
  I looked at alot of different phones. The Google pixel didn't have expandable memory, so that was out. I thought about getting a One Plus 6t or 7t Pro but they were sold out at the time. So I called their customer service to ask when they would be in stock & found out that their customer service was a total joke. They could hardly speak English and were totally clueless. They were not able to answer any of my questions. That was a red flag for me & really turned me off to One Plus. But I hope their customer service here in the USA improves in the future because their phones are super good. Since Motorola had been doing business in the USA much longer I figured they are easier to reach if I had a issue or warranty claim.
  So I decided to get the Moto One Zoom instead since it was on sale for $350. I took the $100 I saved and used it to buy Motorola's 2yr accident warranty that covers everything from spills and drops to cracked screens & battery life wear. Another BIG reason I gave Motorola my business is the fact that I wanted to support a brand that supports consumer right to repair. Motorola is one of the only smartphone companies I know of that actually publicly supports consumers right to repair. Other smartphone companies like Samsung or Apple are against consumer right to repair & have purposefully made repairing their products as difficult as possible. They have lobbied spending countless dollars trying to sway politicians into destroying the consumer right to repair act bills.
  So in conclusion, I saved a ton of money by choosing this phone over the new Galaxy, Pixel, or One Plus & so far have had a great experience. Happy with my decision.

  I don't think anyone has realised, this is basically a recycled Moto z4 for the most part including the sides and front. The CPU, RAM, storage, screen, fingerprint scanner, front camera, rear main camera , metal frame including all cutouts for the speaker, buttons and headphone jack ALL the same as the z4!
  
  Probably the reason why there is no android one here. Funny and interesting how this phone is praised (whatever praise it does get) a lot more than the z4 in these specific areas by pretty much all reviewers. Bias much?

  I think that the main point of glass is to include wireless charging. If you didn't include wireless charging, then go with either a metal or plastic back. They're more durable than a glass back, and more practical if you don't include wireless charging.
