  tbh I had this things for two years and it sucked. It requires a SIM Card, glitches out when I watch videos (causing me to restart it), screen replacements are too much, all apps (Instagram & iFunny are two primary examples) are outdated, no Snapchat, the front camera will black out sometimes, and it isn't compatible with my PC. Those are only a few problems though. Overall not worth the $100. I went back to an Apple Smartphone finally.

  Software wise, I'm not a big fan of WP8. Some people like it, but its kind of buggy. I thought Android was buggy, but WP8 is just as buggy if not more. Also the app selection is dismal, so far the only thing I like about WP8 is Nokia Maps ability to archive and use maps offline, which is better than google's , but other than that, I'm not that impressed. I definitely am looking to go back to Android.

  Hardware wise it had a lot of defective problems. like their was a lot of noise distortion with the ear piece and one day it simply become unusable. Also the screen locks up pretty often and some of the apps do not respond. There have been time I've had to soft reset because the Nokia music froze on me. I dunno, I'm already on my fourth phone and their is audio issues again. Verizon might give me a used android, which I will gladly welcome, but the 928 is probably one of the worst phones.

  Yeah choose the Lumia. This has 32gb and the Droid Mini only has 16gb. This has a larger 4.5 display (compared to 4.3 inch) and has Amoled compared to LCD. Also it has a louder speaker compared to the Droid Mini (which I should mention my brother has the Droid and I have this phone). And this is also really easy to navigate! Especially when you set things up, just put in your emails and everything else is done for you including calenders. It would also be a good idea to set up Skydrive.

  1/15? How many people are at your school, because mine has about 2,000 and I've only seen literally 5 windows phones and this was one of them. There was also 3 Lumia 822s and 1 Lumia 520. So if you also had 2,000 students at your school, that would make about 133 students with this phone, and I would doubt that.

  I would have to say that this is probably one of the worst phone I've ever owned. I'm on my 4th Nokia Lumia 928 after just four months (after this one Verz will give me something else if it breaks down). I don't know if its software or hardware, but the phone has such much noise distortion. There are times the distortion is so bad I have to use the speaker to talk to people. Also my third phone froze so much. The touchscreen doesn't work but the buttons do. Had to do so many soft resets.

  Megapixels don't count but the advantage of a bigger photo means you can crop and compress the photo. Also for phones with higher megapixels like galaxy, it has no features to match when it comes to the sensor, ois and the lack of a good Carl Zeiss lens.
