  Do not get this phone reasons why:
  - if you think you can put an SD card and get more storage you are wrong, this will cause problems with having control over SD card
  - camera sucks, blurry af
  - internal storage sucks 16gb isn't enough
  - most important problem for me is after one year later out of nowhere, when people call me all my calls sent to me will show as private number. Even with my contacts it still shows as private number, I can't tell who is calling me or what number called me. I called customer support we put my phone in safe mode, we fixed the problem and after restarting my phone the problem can back, I restarted me phone again and it still there
  
  Over do not get if you want to call, take decent pictures, and have decent storage, because this phone sucks

  dont get this phone. ive had it for 2 years now and it regularly freezes completely if you leave it on for longer than 12 hours at a time (so basically forget about using it for your morning alarm) and it takes 5 years too load

  I've had this phone for 2 years and you should not buy it bc:
  - TERRIBLE camera (it lags a lot and the quality is very bad)
  - low life battery (I remember having 100% in the morning and by 3 hours not even touching the phone, I had 27%)
  - slow (it takes a whole light year for an app to load)
  - texting (the keyboard lags a lot and it takes a really long time to send even if you have wifi)
  - keyboard (again, it does lag a lot and if you type in a different language and make a mistake, you have to retype everything aka Japanese. Sometimes, the keyboard disappears for no reason)
  
  What ever you do, don't get this phone

  Everyone please, do not buy this phone, I've had it for a few months. It's poop, the cameras are super butt-cheeks and my audio jack only plays from one side. The phone over heats and the battery life is mega butt-cheeks. It lags and if you enjoy snapchat, pfft forget about it on this thing.

  I don't know ya, but this phone is awesome I have it for a year and half. Do what needs to do. The only things bad camera and battery bought extended battery at eBay camera still shitty but still hang to it. And still using it ain't got money to buy a $700 phone my phone do anything what a $700 does. I text, call record, anything satisfied My need and chip phone. will get Samsung edge in near future when prize drop.

  i have a samsung galaxy avant and it stinks because....
  Cons:
  1. the graphics are terrible
  2. its not too good with games
  3. doesnt have enough storage
  4. has a terrible battery
  5. overheats
  6. burns battery too fast
  7. too small
  8.TouchWiz is laggy
  9.Wi-Fi connection isnt strong enough. (only has one Wi-Fi adapter antenna.)
  10. Super glitchy
  11. Has terrible cameras. (front and back)
  12. Runs old version of android. (Android KitKat 4.4.2)
  13. S Voice is stupid
  Thats why im trying to get a new phone. Im planning on getting the Samsung Galaxy J7. (2015)

  This video review is excellently done! The Samsung Galaxy Avant is a workhorse in the mid-tier smartphone world. This video hits the nail on the head for all of the great features this phone has to offer. I've had this phone for one year now, and it has held up tremendously. The battery life is great! It comes with two levels of power saver mode, and you can set that according to how you use the phone. The GPS, & NFC work well. The Skype quality on this phone is great too. The safety assistance and emergency modes are so great to have. For the money, this phone can hardly be beat! Again, great video.

  Don't be fooled by reviews. If it's fresh out the box then yes the device will be working smoothly. But speaking from a firsthand experience, after having this phone for a year and 2 months the battery drops it like it's hot. And yes. The phone always gets heated. Snapchat kills this phone. Browser crashes constantly so I must use Chrome which kills the battery. I'm only halfway through the storage and I'm wanna break the phone on my head with how slow it is. It now takes 4 hours to get a 90% charge. Listen. If you're a avid phone using teen, DO NOT purchase this device. Youre better off spending the extra $100 to get a LG G4 or LG Nexus 5x (or 6p). These phones will definitely last 2 years. I'm stuck in a contract with the Avant. Don't be fooled.

  Have had my Avant now for over a year and have had no issues! Great phone and its taken a beating and still works great! The processing power is there but it is a budget phone. Ive noticed when in spotty service and wifi areas I wont have reception but my friends who are also on tmobile but with nicer phones do. So they cut corners in certain areas but the core specs are solid. I can stream in hd and play online games and torrent just fine!

  Metropcs is forcing me to upgrade from my Galaxy s3 due to the whole CMDA network thing. I was considering getting this with my trade in credit but is it a phone that's gonna go to shit within a year like the s3? Ive had my s3 for about 3 years now and it got worse and worse with locking and crashing as time went on, and thus i don't really want to get the s5 like my sister does. If i don't care about the camera, gaming or other features, and only care about being able to surf the web and use facebook, is this a good phone to upgrade into?

  The problem is is that its not popular enough. That itself is not a problem just the thing is is that theres no lifeproof case/waterproof case that dosent look like a plastic bag for it no mophie case for it and you cant get. A different color back cover for it. Other than that its a great phone, i have it, and its not much worse than the s5 (i know the proscessor and the camera is not as good but its still pretty good)
