I just ordered one for someone on my Advantage Line (Sprint employee friend and family account), cant beat the deal they we going this Black Friday weekend, get the phone free after a $50 mail in rebate. Its not an S3, but it doesnt have to be. twice the storage, higher ppi screen, pure Android. CPU is just a tad slower, RAM is no contest, but still very decent, SD slot is only a factor if you plan to use a 32gb or larger chip. I sometimes wish I had it more than my S3 because of its simplicity.

@iwrestleabeeonce, Even if you activate 4g on, you may still be connectef to 3g for the fact that theres is no 4g near you or the signal just isnt strong enough.

I have the Epic 4G and Sprint's 4G LTE is coming to my area soon. Is this worth paying $265 on eBay. Or should I wait until July when my contract ends to purchase a new device?

I have a galaxy S2. I really like it but I underestimated this phone not knowing that jelly bean was going to fix its sluggishness. I was wondering should I get this phone or sick with my galaxy S2? I don't really care about the camera.

Depends on what you're looking for... Do you prefer the stock ICS experience or does touchwiz not bother you? GSIII has longer battery, bit faster and a bigger screen.

I still love my galaxy s2, I tried the nexus lte for a week and did not like the device it felt cheap and also the speaker volume sucks, remember its a Google phone, I also had trouble with the NFC it locked up and was unable to use it, and due to the NFC locking up I was unable to access the setting on the NFC, ICS kept crashing this is why Verizon said no to this technology. If you try to use another Google account using Google wallet, the NFC chip will lock up for security reason.

The menu button has actually been discontinued. Google now wants app developers to put the main options in the action bar at the top. The reason you get the menu button show up at the bottom sometimes is because not all have been updated yet to support the new action bar.

That is not the perfect spot for the power button if you play games as you can turn the phone off while playing which is very frustrating.

My town of Atlanta is one of the first US cities which will have Sprint 4G LTE, but full rollout is probably a year away yet. Until their area gets Sprint 4G LTE, Nexus users will be limited to 3G.

I meant 8mp for the Galaxy SII Epic 4G Touch, not 5mp like the Nexus. I forgot to mention a con for the Nexus is a shorter name. I hate long phone names, and different names for the same phone by different carriers. But, that's just me. Can't wait to see what the S III offers next week.
