  8 years later my tablet is still nice unfortunately I cannot update it anymore but it still runs good and it's still fast only wish Samsung would always update all their tablets

Also has LOUD audio, even tho the speakers aren't in necessarily prime locations it really projects!You do need to get a case for this bad boy IMMEDIATLY though as it doesn't come with one.Battery life is really good! Standby time us FANTASTIC. This guy can go about a week on standby and be just fine. The screen is massive so the longer you have the screen on, brightness especially, it will effect battery life. I am very happy with it though!One thing that I didn't consider is that since the screen resolution is so high, viewing ticktocks/ reading webtoons can be slightly blurry. There is no way to turn down resolution either, so it just be like that.Would still judge this bad boi at 10/10 for my first tablet. I've had it 3 months now and its not shown any evidence of "slowing down" or anything. Love it!

  Very nice until I got in trouble and samsung says they cannot fix it even though youTube is full of the same complaint from other people. I even went as far as resetin to factory standard the samsung tab but it kept the same problem of the wifi switching on and off by itself, draining the battery and not being able to log on. Samsung is overpriced for this sort of stuff. The same happened to my Tab SM t520, and my mobile went haywire spending money as did my sons after application updates. This happened within a couple months of each other because I usually try not to update anything. It is not the wifi adapter because It is happening on various other tablets of the same make and if I contact samsung they say they cant do anything about it. What a rip off.

  I've had this tablet for about a year now and I can say I'm quite satisfied with it. In fact you can find a lot of product alternatives by samsung that work just as well if not better than apple stuff.

  I have the Pro 8.4 and the Tab S 10.5.
  To me the Pros have much more natural picture, the S tablets are best for viewing 4k videos on youtube. I do not like the Tab S for web browsing, the colors are off.

  Would you advise me to buy the Samsung Galaxy Tab Pro 10.1 instead of the Samsung Tab 4 10.1? I can get either one for the same price brand new.
  I want to use it for web-browsing, and maybe Youtube videos. Is there any reason not to get the Pro? For example, I found out that the Pro takes 31 seconds to boot up, whereas the Tab 4 takes 25 seconds. I also found out that the Pro has business apps on it. Would this make it more complicated, and confusing to navigate around? I do not need it for work. Anyone reading this is also welcome to reply, thanks.

  Just wanted to say thank you for the excellent video.   I was messing with personal computers with DOS.  Now I am lost.   I cannot keep up.   My 42 year old daughter says,  "But Dad, you use to be the tech guy in the family!"   It is sad to fall from grace.  I have a LT, a Samsung Galaxy 4s, a 8" tablet - and today I am wanting to buy a bigger newer tablet.   You were a huge help!   Thanks again for taking the time and sharing your expertise.  Now just with you knowledge but also you excellent presentation.   Sorry you had all that white stuff on the ground around your house.

  Just got the tab pro 10.1 and I heard a lot of question about battery drain. I decided to do the experiment on the battery. I do this by leave it alone for 7 hours. After 7 hours I checked and it was only drain by 2%. The tablet is fast, a bit lag sometime but only half of second. I downloaded games and they're all work fine apart from my favourite game (heroes of order and chaos), I opened this game and it come up 'unfortunately, heroes O&C has stopped working' and it's piss me off, and I'm about to sell it to get the ipad 4. Why?, because I have ipad2 and I never have even a single problem with Apple store. Sorry for my bad English.

  turn off all samsung apps in settings, freeze what ever apps you can with any free program.
  turn off gps, sync, and other useless things for a tablet.
  go into developer settings and set animations to 0. or 0.5.
  also downlaod the google launcher, or nova. 
  
  BOOM now you got a mega fast, super quick and LAG free beast that it is.

  I got one of these, and the battery does not last very long. When watching movies it last 6hr but when surfing the internet it lasts at most 5hr. My iPad 1 lasts longer than that and it is 4 years old. Also android 4.4 lags behind iOS 5 and all the apps that run on the iOS 5 nicely seem to lack polish on Android

  They best the IPads in specs and bench marks but when you use them side by side it sucks for the galaxy. Even tho I like this tablet,It's not the monster Samsung wanted. Too many reviews about the Rom. The IPad Air crashes too much as well, But not system crash more like browser crash, the UX on this causes system failure. It needs a Rom touch up.
