  I ask because I'm interested in the tablet but not with the current marshmallow 5.1.1. According to the link provided there is a way to update the tablet although apparently not Samsung endorsed because I asked a represantative of Samsung via chat about this and that doing so will ruin the tablets operational "firmware". And that "if" there is to be any future update that it would be readily available to download via samsung.com
  
  I also asked the Amazon Community.
  Question: Is it possible to upgrade from lollipop 5.1 to Nougat?
  Answer: I haven't been able to. Unless Samsung sends the OTA update, the only method I know of is rooting the devise and side loading it yourself.

  In conclusion, it seems, according to the link provided there is the possibility of an upgrade but as per the Samsung representative it is not endorsed whatsoever. However, Mr. Melson, does shed light into the issue. Basically, that as long as Samsung does not officially issue an OTA update then the only way around that would be to root the devise (at your own risk.)

  I think the Galaxy View comes with 2GBs of RAM not 4.
