  In Canada Bell is the carrier - do not waste your money you cannot even watch this video on it because the YouTube app has move beyond the 1.5. os. Wait until the 2.1 os is offered on another phone. I purchased this phone big mistake. You cannot download Google Earth because 1.5 does not support it. The list goes on.

  bluetooth and USB ports are not working.file transfer is not possible. Samsung doent have solution for this problem. complaints are from all parts of the world...

  i just ordered the galaxy.. i would have rathered the htc hero, but it's on sprint and it doesn't have the features i expect on a phone.. like a 3.5mm jack.. i did a little research and found that there is a hero rom for the samsung galaxy.. so as soon as i put it on my phone, i should be all set.

  WTH??? are you guys serious??? this phone is ugly as shit...no way does it look better than the mytouch, hell it doesn't even look better than the G1 (I have the bronze)...this crap is hideous and the screen resolution does not look clearer...Brighter, yes...but clearer hell no its like comparing a plasma HD to a regular SDTV...man that phone was ugly lol

  best review (after 3 others) , at least you are not talking about android os features that are not related to the phone. the side by side pictures show how outstanding the display must be. though more on specs would be even better

  are you crazy? lol the ONLY things the galaxy beats the hero in is its skinnier the flash and the AMOLED screen the hero has a teflon coating a anti finger print screen 3.2 inch screen aswell as the 5.0 megapixel cam the galaxy has it has sense UI and flash 10 its almost as skinny as the galaxy and so yeah sorry to tell you but the hero crushes the galaxy along with pretty much every other phone out there

  Nice, but i don't get why they made the buttons at the bottom so old fashioned looking. It just ruins the whole look of the handset, which apart from those buttons, looks pretty damn fine!

  Don't compare this to the Magic. The Magic is an old phone its been out in the UK for a long time. Compare it to the Hero. It appears that the Samsung beats the hero on paper on most areas apart from RAM. The amount of RAM on this phone concerns me as it is less than the G1.

  don't forget it has better resolution than the magic and also 5megapixel compared to 3.2 which for me destroyed my appetite for the magic.....youtube is also wacky....i had the chance to play with it at the tmobile store in columbus ohio and i was dissapointed ......iphone is still the best quality touchscreen...f**k flash.

  HTC Magic is much more stunning on ID compared to i7500. However, 3.5mm jack is what I need. i7500 is cool. But after seeing the launch of HTC Hero, I will definitely choose HTC Hero. I NEED BOTH 3.5MM JACK AND FLASH AVAILABILITY MEANWHILE!!

  I think you should get the Samsung i7500 with Android, instead of the Magic, because they have the same Android OS, but the Samsung is more physically attractive, and the magic doesn't have a 3.5mm headphone jack.

  HTC Magic has no 3.5mm jack. I think this Samsung will boost sales tremendously for TMobile, since it'll work on their 3G network.

  man the samsung kicks the htc ass, as far as screen on the pictures comparison. the samsung is much brighter, clearer, cleaner than the htc. wow. the difference is obvious.
