  I too am looking for a tablet for sheet music. But i want to display it in portrait mode. I read that the view 2 fixes the lame portrait mode of the original view but i haven't found a video except yet. Could you show what it looks like doing portrait mode?

  Yup, that's a Samsung GaLAGsy allright. Really unwieldly tablet that will probably have garbage performance within 2 years. Stick to iPads people, there's a reason why Apple puts high-performance chips in them and properly manages OS-updates, so you won't have to read 10 year old posts about why your $800 device doesn't support Netflix in HD anymore.

  Sounds great to me for reading books or watching movies, and even portable (compared to my 10 pund Alienware laptop), as I am visually impaired and need fairly large text and options to enlarge and reduce text size. I am so delighted that Samsung has offered a 17.3" tablet. A 10" one is virtually useless to me.

  I love this! I work from home and get tired of my desk / laptop (30 inch monitor). I can grab this - get on the couch and work while lounging. Word, excel, a cloud drive and I am all set. Watching Netflix hulu and sling pretty cool too. Yes, wish it was 4k HD... but not that big of a deal. I find the angle perfect. I would highly recommend!

  I have a galaxy view 2 17" tablet, trying to get this to work on it but I'm stuck In a sign in loop, after I click on "let's go!" It brings me back to sign in again. Anyone know how to correct this??? I'm running xbox cloud on my s7+ tablet no problems. It's wierd.

  It's not meant to be a "traditional tablet" that you hold in your hand - it's meant to be stood on a table/window sill while you .. well.. "view" content (hence the name). Definitely a media consumption device rather than productivity tool. Hence the built-in stand (clearly not a cover, which is why it doesn't wrap around). It's very much meant to be moved around rather than something static like a smart-tv. We have the View 1 and it's hardly ever in the same place - watching vblogs on the kitchen window sill when washing up / kitchen worktop when cooking / table top for quick google lookup / catching up with facebook while eating breakfast / living room when monitoring security cams / dining room table for skype distanced meals with relatives / bedroom for films in bed / office for setting up smart home / etc Need to get another one (if it wasn't so expensive) as never know where it is :) Yes, many things you can do if you have a decent phone or small tablet - but watching a film on a 3" screen while washing up ... pass.

  I REMEMBER THE SAMSUNG GALAXY VIEW!!! I wanted one of those when it first came out bc I wanted to use it for entertainment/content. I could not remember the name of that thing. The main reason it wouldn't work for me was the permanent hard stand attached to the device. It was just cumbersome. I don't think Samsung created it for mobility. I thgt it was a great idea @ the time bc I don't have a tv and I watch all of my content on my laptop. I wanted to use the Galaxy View as my tv and have it stand side by side with my laptop, so I could watch a show and work simultaneously. AT&T was giving those things away with basically anything you purchased. When I went back to AT&T they were all sold out. The View2 doesn't look as sleek as the original View.

  I have the original version, WiFi only. I love it. Yes it's for media consumption but it's great at it. It's like a small television that's portable and the video isn't bad. My original version still works but checking to see if it's worth upgrading to the view 2. But believe me, everybody who has this thing loves it. So much so that the aftermarket price is crazy.

  I think it is good for someone who has visionary problems and problems with their Vision I don't think it is bad at all it depends on the person the money might be a bit too much Candy Crush Crush games and and so on and that would be good is it had more features for a game and Craft person and who also like digital jigsaw puzzles that will be good but as I said for a person that has vision problems that suits the person music as well
