  Wow,... Almost 7 in panel size together. And I just watched this on my 2 year old duel screen LG V60 which also has a bar like that in the middle of the 2 screens and each screen is 6.8 inches. but at least it works in vertical and horizontal mode, can use each screen for a separate app. But in 2011 no lie I would have loved this just for the fact that it was foldable to go in a pocket and it is a good looking device. Just wonder how the speakers were.

  More to the point though, we did end up seeing a sequel but thanks to Microsofts duo screen!
  Also with Sony inventing the OLED screen, who knows, they may yet dive back into the folding tablet (or smartphone) design like Samsung & Motorola have been doing.
  Reguardless though, It's a beauty... flawed sure, but a Tablet that fits into your pocket is always a step in the right direction!

  Looks like a copy of Microsoft Courier, which made it only to prototype. However, the Courier prototype was split the other way with different content on the left and right and the hinge did not divide anything. Instead the centre was a shelf for putting thing temporarily. The Courier was also based on using pen and touch together .

  This actually a great idea, just perhaps too soon since the technology hasn't matured yet... with current technology, it will become great. I mean 7" phablet that is really powerful. The dual screen setup that is great for gaming. The bezel could be eliminated with current technology (only the hinges one that needed to be gone).
  If Sony releases the modern version, I think I will get one.

  My GPD XD is a clamshell Android Kitkat tablet. Only one side has 5.5 inch screen and other half is mapable gamepad controls. Designed to play games and with the added controls can also be handy for smartphone OS controlled drones.

  These days, I'd say the smart device sector actually is getting a jolt of excitement
  
  -Phones with modular accessories
  -Android based "PDA" with a clamshell and full sized keyboard
  -hell, the reintroduction of a "dual screen" phone, albeit a much more sleek and functional design
  
  The only thing I wish is that more of these interesting ideas would go towards secondary smart devices rather than phones.
