  I bought Prime version of it when it's first released and used as daily phone for 3 years then I switched to RN8 Pro (I'm using this for 3 years too :)) Anyways, overall performance was decent on RN2 but battery was not good. I was getting max 3.5 hours screen time and it's really bad. Because of that I got 4 batteries. Apart of that last year I changed whole screen cause of deformation on the edges of lcd screen. Phone still working good. I'm using it for my drone's fpv view. I'm happy with it.

  Running MIUI 8 Global rom on my Redmi Note 2 Prime now, Antutu still at 48k-50k points, but system performance got even better, bloatware is nowhere to be found and screen on time increased to about 4-5h on a 14h day. Probably because they resolved the issude with phone idle using most of the battery, cause that now dropped to about 5% of total usage. The camera app also changed a bit.

  Di not buy this phone.. I have the redmi note 3g and the Note 2... both have serious Bluetooth problems ... especially when you want to make calls through Bluetooth... I have gone as far as installing custom Roms and found that it works... which means it's a software problem which they are not rectifying... I also notice it's got GPS signal issues .. very bad Xiaomi...

  I love this phone. Mine has LTE. It is fast. The screen and speaker beat most phones I've had at the price and even some flagships. It is plastic but I don't care. lol. It is just a fun phone to flash ROMs on. There are many I've ran that are insane. Especially the HTC one m9 plus Port. Uses same processor so runs insanely well. Looks awesome. You must get this phone if you are a phone collector or just need a killer spec phone under 180.00 USD. Still one I grab often while right now I use note 5 mainly and nexus 6. I am really loving that damn display tech. The icons are right on the screen and unlike Samsung etc. They look so crisp its crazy. I cannot attest to how long it will last but I've beaten up with about 200 flashes. lol. enjoy. If you buy one. EBay from US seller.

  i just got one of this, i can tell you if you're looking for a budget phone. Don't think too much, just get this shit. Broke my z3 compact recently and was in a dilemma of a temporary phone. I took a gamble and bought this instead Lg G3 because of the price offered was peanuts in the mobile world. Redmi 4s if you have a little more budget. See below for more user experience:
  
  1. Screen - Excellent
  2. Sound - reasonable quality, but loud enough (better than z3 compact)
  3. Battery - reasonable considering the size (use low brightness for longevity) - lasted 2-3 days with fair usage. (z3 compact hands down in this department)
  4. Miui 7 - Excellent - very little bloatware almost none, Great animation, excellent themes support, and good settings.
  5. Build quality - marvelous, again considering its price. feels premium on the hand and customization at will with lots of cases and battery covers.
  6. Camera- 8/10 - low lights reasonable , with proper lighting great quality. There is no cheap feeling to it. more like using an outdated 2014 samsung or sony module.
  7. Overall Speed and performance - 8/10
  8. Rootable - Yes! wait for more roms to kick in. The phone is awesome without the root anyway.
  9 .Service center has good and professional support for customers like fixing shit in 1-2 hours according to a fellow xiaomier.
  
  I'm just gonna use this until the rest of the prices drop down, the phone is a no brainer for its price. I salute Xiaomi for their products after this experience. Looking forward to Mi4s or Mi5. Price to performance ratio note 2? 9.5/10

  This phone is ok, but it dims and brightens nonsensically and gets stuck on "Dialling" when making phone calls. Also, battery life is a tad erratic. Sometimes it powers through the whole day like a champ, while the next day it may struggle to make it. Another problem are launchers. They just don't appear in the list. In actual fact, I feel restricted and controlled in a way, which reminds me of the iphone. However, for the price, it truly is a great phone for someone unwilling to blow 1k on a damn phone. No regrets.

  Please help. I bought the XIAOMI RedMi Note 2 32GB 4G about 3 weeks ago, all things good. But yesterday my phone just shut down. When I open it again, Show me this Message "Thermal Warning"(but the phone isnt hot or use it to much) and after a few seconds is shuting down.   As a person who lives in SEA (Malaysia) we think XiaoMi is China version of iPhone only using Android software and cheaper as well. I mean I owned a XiaoMi 3 and the interface is almost as iOS. The only think that XiaoMi stop us from buying their phone is really the Camera, even the video had said is just "average". But the battery on my XiaoMi 3 is a beast. I got around 2 days without charging and almost end of the day 2, I left with 2-3 percent left.

  Hi guys, I want you to describe the purchase in the store -Hong Kong Goldway, ( I ordered 6 products and all have a track code... all except this one) 11.11 I contacted the seller and said if this gadget - the Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Prime 32 GB ROM and received a positive response and was told they would send once I get the money.
  11.11 as soon as I paid for the phone, waited a couple of days and in the answer silence... it took a couple of days, I turn to the seller what to get the answer you need a day or two, takes a day or two comes Friday and again contact the seller and I promised to send on Monday 100%.
  Today was Monday again, the answer from the seller - too many orders need 3~6 days to arrange and ship, please wait for another ( much orders need 3~6 days to arrange and ship) here is the attitude from this seller to its customers ...
  If not for the discount of 11.11 ( 15 dollars for the purchase of 149.99 and $ 10 for a $ 2 coin for mobile phones ordered) would have refused from this product !
  
  So maybe it's selective to me and maybe to YOU all be true, but when I bought the Blomberg Mickey or Evan Online Store or took my 780 from Eternal Team. I received the product within 14-17 days and the track was to next day or second but no later. I strongly recommend this seller !
