  My dad just gave me that exact same phone and it's probably one of the worst phones I've ever seen in my life (btw it's even a first-hand). 5 years warranty? More like 5 years of torturing me like hell. Phone is super laggy, can't even handle low graphics. Camera quality is rlly bad, always coming out very pixelated. It even made a record of freezing at the home screen for 32 seconds. It's like there's a 15-year-old Nokia chip installed to the phone. The phone even drains its own battery when I'm not using it. I always made sure that I have at least 2GB of free space (requirements for the phone to work smoothly), and yet it's giving such poor performance. This reflects on how Xiaomi makes its money off of selling their gadgets at 5x their actual cost. I hope that this is the first and the last Xiaomi gadget I'll ever get. Honestly, what a waste of $300+.

  and after playing game NFS no limits. It was overheated at 45 temperature and it's ear speaker gone damage now.
  
  Still it's temperature is 39 on normal usage.

  I don't know why you pronounce it "shaumi", when they spell it with an X. If they wanted us to prononuce it that way, they should have translated their name correctly, to respect our language (English), and not try to teach us how to pronounce our own language (although I have serious doubts about certain regions of America of being able to do that). Thanks for a good review, and for the heads-up on the crappy camera. I won't be buying this. At this price point, yesterday's technology with a better camera tech could have been just as affordable and given better results in the camera department.

  I have one and I love it. Couldn't wish more for this price! Very decent battery life. A reasonably sharp 6 inch screen that's easy to hold and work with. Decent camera. Very solid, loud and clean speakers with some actual bass. Headphone jack is above average and it has built-in Equalizer. It's also very fast and snappy and I don't play games on my phone so yeap, Couldn't wish for more at this price.
  I have the Black 64GB/4GB version btw.

  Currently own a Xiaomi phone and honestly MIUI is enough to put me off from ever buying another Xiaomi phone.
  Good hardware for cheap no doubt, but the software is atrocious.
